what a mom will do for her son...

So this is what I looked like BEFORE the ferris wheel started. You don't want to see me during or after the ride. Brycen insisted on going on this, and the only reason I agreed is because I honestly thought he would chicken out before we actually got on it. Needless to say...I was the chicken...not Brycen.

Everytime they would stop the ride and the little seat would rock back and forth...I would scream, and I think throw up a little bit in my mouth. Brycen would laugh...hysterically. While we were up on the very top of the ride, I would be covering my eyes and holding on for dear life. Brycen would be waving and yelling "HI" to the people WAAAYYYYY down on the ground. He would then try to get a better look over the edge...which would cause the seat to swing again...and of course more screaming from me and laughing from him.

To make matters worse, I swear this ride lasted at least a half hour. Ok maybe not, but it sure felt like it. My son is too brave for me.

It makes no sense. How can you go sky diving and not be okay with a ferris wheel?

I'm lol. I hate ferris wheels, for exactly the same reason. I am afraid of heights, and I can't stand when they rock back and forth. I have been on one with Robin and of course the more I squealed and carried on the more he rocked it. It's hard to believe Brycen liked it. Love, Linda

It is funny you'd be scared of a ferris wheel but not skydiving.

So, remember teh first book club when Leanne told us about a book about the Chicago World Fair? Well, we finally did it a couple months ago and learned all about the birth of the Ferris Wheel, so as I read your post I was just wishing you could still be part of all our book clubs. We miss you, come back! Anyway, did you guys ever get a house or are you still in an apartment? How are you liking being back in Cali?
Loves,
Amanda
