We spent Memorial Day weekend visiting Uncle Nathan and Auntie Heather. We were lucky and got to visit with a lot of other family while we were there too! We went to the Strawberry Festival and the Beach. Brycie had lots of fun! He LOVED playing in the sand at the beach...but he was a little freaked out by the waves coming after him.

Brycie, Dad and Uncle Nathan had a lot of fun digging in the sand.

Me and Auntie Heather posing for the camera!

Brycie got to ride this cool swing at the Strawberry Festival. He had FUUUNN! And then we all went on the jumpy bridge. Brycie got to climb into the firetruck..I know he looks unhappy in this picture..but I swear he was super excited to sit there!
At the festival, we all got parfaits and I was the only one who didn't like it. I don't think they will ever let me live that one down...

And Brycie insisted on climbing into bed with us in the middle of the night...so here is a cute picture of him snuggled up with Daddy. Such manly men on that hot pink pillow..haha.
We all had a great time, especially since Uncle Nathan would cook us breakfast every morning :) And we went out to eat at Sizzler...yum! Why is food always the highlight of my vacations?

Ya the second time was really funny. Your little guy is even more cute in person.
I like the short hair. We were thinking about cutting Michael's hair short but his hair is really fine so we decided against it. haha. I'm so envious of the warm weather there, I got back to Idaho and it was like 50 something and its rained almost everyday. I do miss the warmth at times.
I had a great time also. It was a real privilege to be there for Brycie's first beach trip. He was so cute. I'll never forget it. I think he loved everything but the water chasing him.- Grandma Jill
Kacie.. Where does this Nathan character live?
I'm jealous of your trip. Wish I could've been there. Well, I'm glad you all had fun and enjoyed yourselves, except for the parfait, you wacko. Haha, oh well.
Looks like such a fun weekend. My girls were scared of the water (at the beach) as well. The pictures are really cute, and Brycen's haircut is darling.
The highlight of your vacation is always food... except when it's a strawberry parfait. Kacey, Kacey, Kacey.
You and Heather are silly. :)
Brycen looks like a completely different little person with his haircut! He's so adorable (not that he wasn't before)! And I love that picture with him and Matt.

This isn't intended to let Kacey off the hook, but in her defense, the parfaits were not as good as they used to be.
It sounds like you all had lots of fun. And the pictures are great. All the talk of strawberry parfaits. I've never tried one. I know Mary loves them. One of these days I will try one. Love, Linda
Jedd and I went to the Strawberry Festival and didn't even get parfaits... so we're just as messed up as you, Kacey.
okay, so I think that Kacey, Matt, and Rachel's comments about the parfaits are all just a plot to make Mary and I not feel so bad about not being there and getting to eat one. Am I right??
Thanks guys!
lol. I don't know about everyone else but I was telling the truth. They were yucky...but then I guess I'm just a freak.
Sarah, I was too cheap to buy one, much less 6! They were $7 each.
Okay, Kace, I guess I can forgive you. Especially when I keep Sarah's theory in mind. :) And besides, Matt and Danny call me a freak because I don't like bacon. Or barbeque sauce. Or cucumbers.... I would go on, but... there's kind of a lot.
