lost my mind

When Matt got home from work yesterday, the first thing out of his mouth was, "Are you trying to get robbed?" And with my most innocent look, I asked him what he was talking about...waiting to hear what dumb thing I had done now. Apparently I have a bad habit of leaving the keys in random places, but I think the worst place to leave your keys would have to be in the front door! (I did have to explain that I was carrying groceries AND Brycen when I walked in the door, so I was a little preoccupied) Wish I could say this was the first time I'd done this, but I must admit the same incident happened in our Las Vegas apartment. It wasn't such a big deal when I was living in a house and would do this, but an apartment where people are constantly walking by your front door... Could I be any more absentminded??

Thats hilarious. I did something similar to this on Valentines Day (2 days before Austin and I got married). I locked the keys in the car for 2 hours with the engine running! Ya my mind was going crazy...expecially having to plan a wedding in 6 days.

I've done the exactly same thing for the exactly same reason a bunch of times. Now Jedd and regularly checks outside the door when I ask where my keys are.

Ha! That's so funny! However, you really can't get any worse than Mom. She "lost" her keys for like 5-10 minutes, when they turned out to be in her hand. (This happened on several occasions.)

Of course you can come visit me! How fun would taht be, you should convince Jana to come with you guys. I know she's still in Fresno, but that would be so much fun if you guys came down here. Nessa said her parents live in Springville, and they live like 7 minutes away from us. Let me know when you guys want to come, I will have to make sure that I am in town!

I've done it, too. So has Matt--so it isn't just a girl/mom thing!
I love Matt's reaction. So Matt!

Oh yeah, Mary. It is so funny when that happens! Mom is the ultimate key loser! Love you, Mom!

Haha thats funny because we've done that and forgot about it till the next morning when Jared needs to start the car to go to work. Which is even worse. :)
